CLASS DESCRIPTION: Laurie and Doug have never met in person, yet are definitely kindred spirits. Students who have worked with one or the other of them separately have found in each a path from the profound to the ethereal. Their love for image-making, story-telling, and going deep within their craft while having a great time is exceptional. As educators, they both have the experience, wisdom and grace to enable students to delve deeply into their own creativity in order to find the stories and feelings needing expression in their photographs. Now you have the one-time opportunity to work with both Laurie and Doug together in a single workshop, held in the beautiful landscape of Asheville and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Some days we will be photographing landscapes in the mountains and by waterfalls, other days will be spent with models, or even in the back alleys of Ashville. Special treat: Nicole Cudzilo will be joining us as a model (along with others). There will be time to share student projects brought from home, review work-in-progress made during the workshop, and even have one-on-one time with Laurie & Doug together!
